Born on September 22nd. 1957 in Burbank, California. At age of 9 started to study playing piano, violin and guitar. When his elder brother organized a band he started to play bass. While attending the California State University of Northridge (CSUN), During this period played with J.P. Morgan, Greg Evigan, Buddy Miles, Gabor Szabo and others. Recorded an album and performed live with the Flamenco Rock Band "Carmen". Also toured and recorded with "Caldera".

His association has spread to unique musicians:
 Kiyotsugu Amano, Kyoji Yamamoto, Hiroshi K (Kubota
Hiroshi), Toshihiro Nakanishi, Charito, Chie Ayado, Yamanaka Chihiro, Miyuki Onitake and Cheryl Bentyne of the “Manhattan Transfer”.
Further experiences includes; Yuzo Kayama, Eikichi Yazawa, Ryoko Moriyama, Mieko Hirota, Mie (Pink Lady), Miki Imai, Masayuki Suzuki, Anri, Kenji Hayashida, Hiroko Moriguchi, Jun Shibata, Hiroko Shimabukuro (from SPEED), C&K and etc. His activities cross over many genre.
